Kensington - The Town of Kensington showed its support for Walter Johnson by making a donation of $550 to the foundation.  The Kensington-Parkwood ES PTA contributed $2,000 to the foundation last year. The support of the entire Kensington community is greatly appreciated.
Luxmanor PTA - Many thanks to the Luxmanor ES PTA for its contribution of $2,007 to the foundation.  Luxmanor is the home of many future members of WJ’s classes of 2014 through 2019 who will enjoy the benefits of WJ’s on-going modernization.
Gala - The foundation’s first annual spring gala was a success as 148 participants attended the May 4, 2007 showing of Fiddler on the Roof in Walter Johnson’s newly renovated auditorium.  Before the show, the participants enjoyed tours of the new facility led by Dr. Garran and dinner catered by High Point Farm.  The gala raised over $6,500 towards the modernization of WJ.  Special thanks to Stacey Rose-Blass and Marilyn Bagel for co-chairing the evening and Tracey Harris for taking charge of the dinner.  THANK YOU to our Gala Sponsors!
